Except that now the first sets of parabolas are for free floating and they only brought out the candy & water for the end. one thing you didn't mention is that for a few days afterwards I experienced an inner-ear aftereffect where I *thought* I was still floating.

To the prior commentator Travis, who said this experience is "reserved for the elite" -- several of the people on my flight hadn't paid for it themselves; instead, they had either won a contest or the flight was a prize that they'd won from their employer. Others, like me, were celebrating a milestone birthday, and if you amoritize $5,000 over 50 years, that's a mere $100/year cost. Some people (not me) spend $100/year just on lattes. It's a matter of priorities and saving your pennies for something extra-special.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2726952721436808793.post-11870823151080660082016-08-23T00:24:27.032-04:002016-08-23T00:24:27.032-04:00If only more of us that are fascinated with scienc...If only more of us that are fascinated with science and space had a cool $5k just sitting around with no purpose. Looks like just another amazing experience reserved for the elite. The closest I'll ever come to this experience already happened in the form of combat landings in Afghanistan packed in a C130. I've been considering this experience for many years, and I think thanks in no small part to your post, I'm going to treat myself for my 40th birthday next year.
